this sculpture carved out of white 25 ton solid block of marble from the Yule mines in CO.
it was carved by Francisco Sotomayer. taken year ago at a mall. amazing work.

another one of your wild captures, where you captured something unique, esp the way it stands out in this mall environment.
When I first saw it, I thought this was one of your 3D creations. But then I saw it was a photo. But you say it's from Photoshop---so did you paste the sculpture into a photo of that mall? Whether you did that, or whether this is actually IN the mall, you got a great angle, and great light, and it makes the statue seem like a ghost who dropped in uninvited.
And look at her head: It lines up perfetly with the pillar behind her. (Composition again!) Even her right hand is in perfect alignment with a bright spot right above it (in The Gap). And her feet line-up with the end of the store in the background. Another beautifully composed shot from you. A really fine capture. You have an eye for odd and unexpected sights. This is a beauty.
