Anyone who's browsed my gallery here (and elsewhere) will quickly realize that I like to depict normal, everyday scenes with normal, everyday people. Something that is sorely missing in the 3dCG hobby world, however, are people who are differently abled, so that is where Lexi Hollingworth comes in to my 3dCG world. Lexi, as can probably be worked out from looking at her, has Down's Syndrome (trisomy 21). Apart from that, she's just like you or me, and I include her in my series (to be found on DeviantArt under the same username as here) as one more of the characters who live in my (fictional) town in modern day Cheshire. She doesn't get special treatment or handled any differently than the rest of the cast, and I feel that by merely being there she is showing that the 3dCG hobby world does not have to be only fashion-model-esque females who have just fallen off the cover of Vogue or Elle. Lexi is an avid videogame player and is into most modern tech in general, although games are her biggest passion. She works part-time at the Mettleham Central Library where she is only too eager to help those who wish to use the library's computers to get onto the internet, send emails, and all of that fun online stuff.
