"RUN!" *version 2* (from The Colonial Marine Chronicles) After getting great feedback from a fellow artist , I re-worked the lights and also added a second Marine. He mentioned "dark lighting" which made me think of John Carpenter and how he can make a scene appear very dark but you can still see the elements that bring tension. I'm very happy how this came out and this is the primary reason why I love getting feedback from other artists. In my opinion; there is no such thing as bad critique. This is how we improve our art. I've found that even when we have a clear idea of what we want to create, others see what we do not (different perspectives) and since we want our viewers to understand our work, it's a good idea to take critique seriously.
