Description
The last appetizer we had at Hoyra was the Green Sorrel Borscht made with sorrel and spinach which was served with Pampushky, a Ukrainian yeast-risen bun and sourcream. This one had a couple of options, but we chose the one with pork in it.
The soup was filling and tasty. The Pampushky was excellent - crispy outside, fluffy inside and held well without getting soggy if you wanted to dip it in the soup. It had garlic butter on it was a nice touch. Didn't need the sour cream but also tasted good with it on.
