I worked on this guy all day and had a blast. The eye is hand drawn, and was 100% the hardest part. I'm watching Blood Blockade Battlefront after reading/watching Trigun. (The original 90s version!) Yasuhiro Nightow is such an inspiration. Trust me I've been TRYING to make my own G9 Toon Vash the Stampede, but as you can see from my gallery I am better with more androgynous characters. Maybe I can sculpt a Vash head and ZWrap that... Sigh... Anyway, this guy really needs some clothes. Maybe this will make me renew my Marvelous Designer subscription. I'm aware that my goggle modeling leaves a lot to be desired. I'd like to get better at modeling static objects, but I'm a characters guy at heart so it will likely take years. These were rendered in Blender! Diffeomorphic is awesome. Nothing comes close to Iray skin imo, but Blender is my natural habitat.
