Description
He was sitting with a goblet of wine when they entered the office. She stood before the large desk, staring at him with a quiet resolve.
The two warriors moved to either side of the desk and stood motionless.
"You recalled me before I was able to complete my assignment." She stared at him with a cold glare.
"Resume it later." He commented evenly as he stared up at her.
"And what is so urgent that I receive a priority command recall?""My two sons." He stared at her with an unblinking stare.
"Navarre and Gavik." Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
"At the rate they are going: their war is apparently about to expand into Federation territory."
"A rather dangerous implication." She drew a deep breath.
"They could very well trigger a galactic war. One commanding a civilian freighter, and the other is unknown, but resourceful."
"A civilian freighter." She scowled deeply, "with significant upgrades under your hand." She stared directly into his eyes. "And a Starfleet Frigate that has most likely been modified as well." She paused for several moments. "So, two combatants that who thoroughly hate each other, with possible heavy combat vessels in Federation space."
"You know a lot if seems." He nodded slowly.
"Not nearly enough though." She again hesitated. "So where do I fall into your thinking?"
"Deal with them." He drew a long breath. "Prevent a war in a finale method. As glorious as it would be, The Empire is too divided within itself to be involved in a war with the Federation at this time."
"I see." She nodded slowly. "And in what manner would you suggest?"
He leaned back in his chair and stared at her with a stern glower.
"I see." She recognized the look and understood its meaning.
