Description
My little pretty deer must have thought, an elephant is trying to go without making a sound :)
I really tried to be as silent as possible, but she had seen me the moment I stepped out the door and she was watching me all the time, coming closer towards her.
When I was pretty close, she turned around, looked at me, walked some steps, looked at me again, walked, looked and finally decided to go back, where she came from.
Maybe rumors were spread the day I talked with my "neighbor" 13 years ago, that he isn't allowed to shoot any deer in my area, even not on his own field close to my house.
I told him, that those deer are mine and are under my protection.
He laughed at me, but never even tried to kill one.
He went that far, that he called me and asked for permission to allow 2 men, hunting doves close to my farm.
One winter many years ago, it was forbidden to feed the deer, any deer, because of an illness far up northern Norway, that could spread.
I gave a fock and always had some hay for them.
Last winter, they even came into my garden and it makes me wonder, that they didn't came back to destroy the long flower bed. All tulips are still there :)
Or the birds have told, that I'm no threat? They all still come to my balcony, to get some nuts or fruits, we don't eat anymore.
And maybe because of all the wasps I have here.
Who knows :) I'm just happy to see them all almost every day.
The second photo is to show the distance.
When I came out the door (1 meter behind me to the left) the deer stood appr. where I put the number 1.
I walked the whole distance to the birches and the boat (number 2) and the deer was then at number 3
It didn't ran, just moved slowly forward, nibbling a bit grass here and there.
The photo, where the deer looked at me, was already on its way back, direction my house.

Very nice, and what a great encounter.
Thanks 🌺💝 yes, it was 💝
Respekt, klingt jeden falls schön
Danke, das ist es auch 💝
