Description
I've now started the long, laborious process of mapping and texturing all the parts, and there's 1,000 of them!
More coming soon...

Oh, that's not the best way to do it! I'll pass on a tip I got from Stonemason; when modelling a big detailed project, make some parts, then map them, then make some more and map those. This breaks up that huge UV mapping task into more manageable smaller jobs and makes it less of a chore.
I realise it's too late for this model, but worth remembering in future. I look forward to seeing the tyres looking a lot more real with some better textures on them.
Yep, the way I would normally work... However, this particular model has been a bit of a Hydra; you know, where I cut off one head, and two more grow in its place.
Original intention was to have a battery driven base, with no engine, thus a lot simpler. But, me being stupid, I decided I wanted a big block and lots of gubbins! And so it grew...
Suspension looks good Chas. I'm sure the rest of it will take shape in your capable hands!
