For Steve:
Just to say that he's is one of the kindest, most caring people here. And he does things with art that always light up my eyes---great colors, great contrasts, bold, bold concepts, wild mixes of humor, flash, knock-out graphics, great 'dark' work (work w/ very dark surroundings), and so on. His work explodes onto the page.
He's always been immensely supportive, doesn't miss anyone's uploads, and he's welcomed people here long ago and given a great deal of love to everyone. I'm sorry he's had challenges---none of them his fault---and I wish him a much, much better year ahead. Happy Birthday, Steve, and let these crazy images be my wishes that everything you give will come back to you manifold. Peace and love from the windy city! mark

Wow, what an awesome way to conclude this beautiful and amazing show of true talent from you Mark...it's always been a pleasure to not only view your images but the awesome support you have given this site through the years in entertaining us with your fantastic stories and beautiful photography.
Your skill in writing if often placed at the top of this site with other great artistic story tellers with the passion and talent of being able to tell a story so eloquently and share it with this community. Being chosen Artist of the Year is no small feat my friend and its often worth mentioning how proud we all are of you attaining this award.
Steve has all always will be the greatest ambassador that this site has...like you have said, he not only welcomes those new to this site but also lends them his full support in any issues which they might need help in. Steve is an artist of strong character and I am certain that no matter what life throws at him, he will succeed in finding the right solution that is just right for him.

that glimmering and reflections off the water is excellent along with the cities POV, i'm always impressed by your masterful photography and tricks you apply to them. hope some day with my new camera i can capture something worth sharing in future. thank you and for Johnny's comments. that second capture is bold in colors. that third with the bleed in of another is so cool. your neighborhood looks peaceful and beautiful area. many thanks for all you shared bro. you made my day. :)
