My Dreams
In my dreams I often go
Back to my childhood, so long ago.
When life was much simpler, you see,
Fairytales seemed so real to me.
I didn't have many cares or fears.
Mom was there to wipe away my tears.
There was freedom to run and play,
Fun and laughter filled my days.
Now my dream, Dear God I pray,
Is for a better world for the kids today.
Working toward this goal, we cannot fail.
So today kids can believe in fairytales
