Cats are great pets, but one thing that has been well noted about them. If you have a dog and you die while your body is down a dog will lick you and bark try to get you awake. A cat, well that's a different can of worms, they have been know to start and eat parts of an human body

Not my brother's Border Collie... when my SiL fainted on their walk, he tried to bury her in the sand, LOL!

Many years ago the Wife's Father got a dog, An Old English Bulldog big lazy thing, well one night I took it for a walk, not a big walk just round the block as you might say, well about half ways it just dropped onto its's belly and just would not move , well I had to carry the dog and mind you it was no light weight, and as soon as I got it back and into the garden, It started it jump out of my arms and barked and run round the garden like a wee pup, that was the one and only time I took it for a walk

Cats are between the best understanders and listeners on Earth :)

It is funny but I know quite a few women who run after cats with a long brush also two who when driving do their best to hit a cat, OLd wile's tales have a lot to answer for, Did you know that just after the great witch hunt in England were they killed many, many cats, that the Black death hit these shores

@radioham It is always sad the mob hunting that happens when people seem to need to find something to blame when things are seemingly out of their control. Poor cats indeed!

Like they never did any harm the poor black cats came off the worse, their deaths were never quick but slow and painful

@radioham So tragic! :( The poor black cats still often face barriers, being the last to be adopted often (often due to superstition apparently). I really like the look of the black cats, they always look so sleek O.o

There is pure black great lookers But pure white not such a great buy they tend to have eye sight issues most go Blind very quick

@radioham Yes, that is true, it is unfortunate they have those sight problems often. I think if I remember correctly, white cats were second last to be adopted often due to the concern that they might have health problems

Yes but if you can by pass their sight problems they look so very cute, but pure black cats many of them can talk a few words if they are in the company of humans a lot, granted I have only ever seen three in my live time that done this, but these were all in English

It was funny but people tend to dislike a cat that says such things as hello or It's a nice day. these same people watch AGT on TV and laugh when they see a dog seemly do it, I say seemly for a reason

Like I am not a great fan of Snakes I would even go so far as to say I hate them, but like everything on this world they do have a right to live
