Description
Made in DS. I made this image to go with this poem. I wrote this poem many years before I got my cat Rosie & before my husband died.
I didn't know just how true this poem is until my husband died & Rosie was my lifeline. I hope you enjoy the image & the poem. Don't use
my poem without my permission. Thank you for visiting my gallery.
Then I Have You
There are times in my life I feel so much despair,
Then I have you with me showing that you care.
In bed with a breaking heart, I cry late at night,
Then waking to find you, knowing it’ll be alright.
No one but you know exactly how bad I may feel,
They just can’t imagine how my hurt is so very real.
You give me great comfort while for nothing asking,
Since I have your devotion that is forever lasting.
Now that I have you, I will no longer feel alone,
All my haunting fears and despair are really gone.
Everyone keeps telling me that you are merely a cat,
But having you here means more to me than that.
They are never here when I walk the floor at night,
And don’t know how the darkness causes me a fright.
Now that I have you showing just how much you care,
I know my days and nights you are going to share.

The render is beautiful and the poem is too.
One of my cats always knows, when I need help, when I'm scared like hell, cause the PTSD found a reason to take control. Then he comes close to me, doesn't matter the time, day or night, he is there.
My Rosie & I have a spirit connection & she knows exactly how I'm feeling. If I don't feel good & lay down she will lay at my head on my pillow & licks my hair to console me. She stayed with me constantly when my husband died eight years ago. Thank you for stopping by my gallery & I'm happy you enjoyed my poem & the graphic I made to go with it. I tried to have the lady's body language express the feelings that are in the poem.
Very nice image I love the poem, Cats are a very understanding pet, but they never are yours, they only live with someone and share their life with because they know you are kind, All the best to you Doris
Rosie believes I belong to her & she is very possessive, she takes care of me like my husband did. Thank you for your comment & I'm happy you enjoyed my poem & the picture I made to go with it. I think the picture expresses the poem.

The pose is amazing, and she looks very real (I mean the woman) absolute fantastic!
Your cats are beautiful. My first cat was a Tuxedo, that was many years ago she lived to be eighteen years old.
2 of our cats on the farm are Tuxedos :) Blanchette and Mr. Schleck https://3dgalleria.it/render/picture.php?/41/category/12 Both are 11 years old :)
I have gray tabby siblings. They were born in my backyard to a feral mom, there was 3, and when they were 10 weeks old the mom cat brought them back to my yard to eat since I feed the ferals in my neighborhood. They had been coming to my yard for only two days when I found the third one dying. I don't think the grown cats were letting the babies eat, so I trapped the remaining two & brought them in the house to care for them. I had planned on getting them adopted when they got old enough, but it took 7 months for them to trust me & then it was only me so I kept them since my only other alterative was putting them back in the yard because the rescue would put up only friendly cats for adoption. I don't regret keeping them because they love me so much & I love them, they are 4 years old now. their names are Honey[girl] & Pooh Bear[boy].
That is so lovely ♥ Silver, the mom to Blanchette and Mr. Schleck was found with her 3 siblings on the streets. My cat had lost her 2 kitten, one just seconds after birth, the second we had to take to the vet, it had an open throat :( We took the 4 into the house and my cat adopted them instantly :) I have to see, if Silver is somewhere around and take a picture to show you :)
A beautiful picture and a touching text.

So true.
Thank you for stopping by & for your comment
Your poem & illustration are very touching! Life can be cruel at times, especially when we lose someone we love! It's like part of us has died with them.
What you have with your cat is a very special gift! Treasure it!
Yes I have a bond of the heart with my Rosie. Thank you for your comment
All cats I had and have until now are sensitive to when we feel bad. Each of them had a way to try to help us.
One of them last year entered even in depression when I began to be, because of the job I had at that time. That's a first time for me, and hope he never again feels so much for me! (and is a ginger and white ike in your image).
Cats are very sensitive & extremely loving. Thank you for your comment
