The team stopped and slowly turned, staring at the protective barrier in stunned silence.
"Well," Sarge finally drew a shaky breath. "Unexpected, but no complaints."
The power readings have spike, Sarge." One of the braided females stated with amazement. "It's off the scale."
"Location?" Sarge turned to face her.
"Everywhere. I can't get a lock on its origin."
"Okay." He sighed softly with a shake of his head. "Bishop, Harper. Gate guard. Everyone else fall out. I think we all earned a break."
"And then?" One of the men glanced around curiously.
"We do this the hard way. We search."
