The team moved slowly across the clearing. Eyes alert with caution.
"Somethings off here." Sarge commented softly.
"This is were the power signatures are emenating from." One of the braided women added.
"Stay sharp!" Sarge called out. "Ancient traps could be present!"
"Too quiet. Too still." Another stated evenly. "I think coming here was a bad idea."
A loud bellowing roar broke the silence causing even the leaves on the trees to tremble. All heads turned in almost perfect unison.
"I knew it!" The skeptical soldier added as an afterthought.
