Description
For his ninth labor, Hercules was sent to obtain the sacred belt of Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, a symbol of her authority and power. Initially, Hippolyta was willing to give the belt willingly, impressed by Hercules’ reputation. However, through deception and rising conflict, the encounter turned hostile. Hercules ultimately defeated the queen and claimed the belt, completing his task and demonstrating his dominance even over the fiercest warrior society.
