For his third labor, Hercules was tasked with capturing the Ceryneian Hind, a sacred deer of Artemis known for its golden antlers and incredible speed. Rather than slaying it, he pursued the creature tirelessly for a full year before finally capturing it alive—demonstrating patience, precision, and respect for the divine.
