Description
A year or so ago, i started my gallery here, with the picture Beacon, which had in it the first real-life structure i had ever made, my Lighthouse. When i put it up in the freebies, even though i could only export it as a bryce object preset (since i did the whole thing in bryce), it received more download hits. so i told myself that when it hit 1000, i would re-make it. so here i am. this is is my tribute to it, and all done in lightwave this time and it all comes down to what i find as an impressive 2408 polygons. it's also all surfaced so as to make texturing easier.
the really neat feature is that there's actual stairs inside, so you could make an animation of someone walking up to the top :) and at the top there's that rotating basket-kinda thing where you put your volumetric lighthouse spotlight heheh
now i need opinions
what do you think?
