Description
American short story author O.Henry (pen name of William Sydney Porter) once remarked "behind every window in New York is a tale."
My illustration was influenced by O. Henry's comment and American cartoonist Will Eisner, especially his graphic novels "A Contract with God" and "Life in the Big City" which are based upon his growing up in the tenements of New York city in the early 1900s.
I used Daz Studio and Photoshop to create this cartoon.
I started this 3D digital illustration in early autumn but could never find the time to finish it due to weekly trips to the hospital for my cancer treatments which left me quite exhausted for a few days. So I recently decided any down time I had I would complete it.
