Excellent Johnny. The biggest myth of the anti ai crew is that ai steals work from artists. If they would look up copyright laws and how ai actuall creates images they would be less paranoid. The majority of troll don't make art.

Regarding that AI art controversy, I once posed a question "What will you think when anyone can bypass AI and simply bring their mental images directly into the real world for all to see?"

The Genie is out of the bottle and I'd rather be friends with him, than an angry enemy. But I think there will always be a segment of population that holds on to traditional art creation ... and I'm totally fine with that :-)

I think you already know my answer to that...for me, it's an art form, just like designing with programs like DAZ Studio, Mojoworld, Bryce, or Terragen! It's often the very users who employ such programs to create their artwork who accuse us AI users of being thieves, plagiarists, or worse. Let's look at it realistically: everyone who works with one of the aforementioned programs also uses predefined templates, routines, models, and tools that are inherent to the program! People who use AI don't have their own program, only their imagination, which becomes real and takes shape through the design of the prompt field. So, strictly speaking, we are the true artists because we bring the images that appear in our minds to life—unlike users of graphics programs who have to follow fixed program routines. Btw....a nice woman you've created! 👍

Countray4458, I like what you have said. I too started out the Bryce and Poser/etc route. Bought things to use and found some free things as well as the things within the programs themselves.. But in essence the work I completed was no more all mine as I used all that other stuff I didn't create. You are correct the images I make with AI come from my prompt, my thoughts, my words, so it truly is mine and for the most part is just as difficult or maybe more difficult to get a really good image as with the other ways to do it. And if we want to be honest some of the artwork that is being presented as no AI is using the AI part of their art program to get their images. They almost all have some AI features. I agree AI is an art form also. A wonderful one. Too bad that all of us that use it can't be included in all of the contests/etc on this site. It is actually pretty sad.

I'll admit I haven't spent much time looking into what's actually involved in AI art, so I don't really have a strong opinion of it. I've seen some really fine pictures, but also a lot of art that looks very derivative. Either way, it's not the direction I've wanted to go with my own art.

Well....I must say I'm in between...when we see artists or politicians or famous people in an AI made image I totally disaghree but when it's in a video like your superb ones, it's OK.

A truly mesmerising and awesome animation video in which AI is obviously used, but the question I would like to ask, as far as AI is concerned, is the extent to which it is used by some artists here who pretend they use AI on a small limited scale only while it is plain to see that they most often entirely rely on it to produce pictures and things obviously remarkable or even extraordinary, granted, but how to judge the potential and creativeness of an artist who simply enters commands and prompts to obtain a 'piece of art' whose algorithmic processing is totally alien to them ? The same in the photographic world, a $ 4,000 camera will not make an excellent photographer of you, but you 'll have to admit that such a camera is likely to produce top quality photos in terms of DOF or light contrasts, though not specifically artistic nor of any creativeness whatsoever . This being said, I can't but totally admire the way you use AI in your videos. I am also in awe for your sense of artistic wisdom as you raise here a point that should make us ponder over what art we mean to produce so as to be seen or remembered as a true artist, not as a graphics technician only or anyone twiddling like children with sophisticated computer programs....

For me, AI is a tool like any program can be. And even better than my skill to draw will ever be. It still have it's limitations, maybe less reachable for big big comps than ours, but still. There is something I can't put from my mind to 3D. Tried Photoshop, nope, not a single close result. AI? Understand the colors I wish but totally at the contrary of what I wish. So programs and AI not for my skill either maybe finally lol

I like to don't do too much work of AI above my 3d, yet I saw results with some people working well. It's just a personal choice. But you saw like doing full AI isn't a problem for me. I find it something even like a therapy, wanting to "do" something but not having the patience or the time to go throught the steps of the 3D - and sometimes 3D frustration when you have passed all the time you could on a scene and the lights don't obey.

And it's too late for artists or celebrities to be unhappy. Once they are known, their style (I'm not talking of their pieces of art, that's another dabate) can be copied, not just by AI. Or the face of the actors copied for draws, or from photos for any fantasy. Or modeled in 3D, like we can see here and there on 3D shops. It's funny to see that at the Renaissance, the apprentice painters copied their masters before to have their own liberty, and everyone was for that fact. Times change.

Your lady has decided she liked what you did for her, giving her the liberty to walk a little further from her car. Just look the smile she gives you!
