Here are a few more of my old photos that might be of some interest.
This airplane was the C5 Galaxy. I wanted to buy it so I could turn it into my own private luxury apartment in the sky, but they said my offer was way too low and just laughed in my face.

That's definitely a massive set of wings! They had one at an air show here when Richards - Gebaur Airbase was still active. I love how all the people are sitting in the shade it provides - great captures!
I can't decide between one of these beauties or an SR-71..... 😉
The SR-71 and this big boy are both amazing, yet very different, serving a totally different purpose.
Best to get one of each ;-)
That is one big plane and engine. Have you ever seen a B-17 from ww2. They are huge too. - Bob
Oh yes, the B-17 always amazed me for some reason ... it had such an awesome 'personality' and 'character' :-)
But the simple P-47 Thunderbolt is also my favorite for a very specific reason -- it was my first plastic model I assembled as a young boy :-)

Could be the Tomcat, but not totally sure.
This is a great set of photos Max! We have our own show here at the Miramar Military Airport in San Diego and I have been inside these giant military transport planes and its always quite an experience to be inside one of these. :-)
Oh yeah ... I could store 10,000 pizza boxes in one of them, plus have room for a pizza kitchen ... and a private bedroom!

The Mach Truck of the skies.....Always marveled how so much weight gets off the ground. Got to see an Antonov brought here to transport our M1A1 back in 2007 :)
Yeah, there's an Antonov plane that I heard is even bigger than this one ... but I never got to touch that one ;-)
