She had sat in silence for several minutes. She had already been informed of the crew meeting in the morning, the Captain would see her then.
She had the night to rest and prepare for another short existence here.
She drew a soft breath. She stood, moved to the end of the bed and opened the suit case. Her eyes scanned over the electronic devices, the assortment of weapons, The remnants of her previous life.
She simply had not been able to part with them. She simply kept herself prepared for any possibility that her previous life to slip back. It was something that she had been able to avoid by staying on the move.
Now here she was, another beginning.
