Beautiful B&W portrait!
I think it's amazingly realistic. The only small thing I'd change is lower the bump-map strength of the skin texture.
I agree that the B&W does and can make for a more realistic image. Beautifully done :)
Wow, this is nice.
The black & white does convey more realism; however, the skin texture is too bumpy, and the displacement should be toned down. If you could manage it, a softer focus is better for a portrait; it is more forgiving on skin imperfections.
