Hello my rendosian friends !
I'm back with a picture of the beautiful Castle of Himeji (姫路城, Himeji-jō) in Japan.
This castle was built between 1581 and 1618 : it is one of the most older buildings of the japanese Middle Age. There are only12 castles left of this period in Japan. So, in order to protect this fabulous fortification, it it considered now as a National Tresor and is registered to UNESCO World Heritage.
Because of its harmonious lines it also has a beautiful nickname : Hakuro-jō that means White Heron Castle !

This is a wonderful castle, surely not like our castles, but I see a common thing with the Renaissance ones: the white color. It's incredible that Himeji castle was able to continue throught all earthquakes it must have known; congrats to the Japanese people for having taken care of it! And nice capture!
