i took my car into the auto repair place today, my blower motor is not working in my ride, so i have no heat to defrost windows or any heat to warm me while i drive, also having my transmission grease changed and radiator fluid change, at least 458.00 plus what ever it costs for the motor of my blower charge whatever it may be?
just got info. i also need my serpentine belt replaced, spark plugs and motor for blower, total of 1.158. thank goodness i have the funds to have it done. my 2003 car is old and so beat up looking from hail damage . my car is only worth maybe 600.00 at best, but can't afford a new car or a used new car. if i bought a used car who knows what problems i might have in the future. so sticking with my current ride for now..

I have a 2005 in really good shape. The dealer is trying to get me to buy a new car. I won't even take it to them for service anymore because I think they will just find things wrong so I will trade it. They contact me 3-4 times a week sometimes. And for almost 2 years now.

mine has had fairly low maintenance mostly. after 23 years some things just wear out. 2003 kia spectra.

Sorry to hear the news about car repairs. I myself have had to deal with that unhappy occurrence of repairing an older car. The way things are going with low build quality in new cars, it is at times advisable to simply repair what you have instead of dealing with the expense of new one. Hang in there Steve and hope that you won't have to spend any more money for quite some time to come. :-)
