Made in DS. I have loved the beauty of old lighthouses even though I have never seen one live, but I love looking at pictures. I wrote this poem about my fascination with lighthouses. Please don't use my poem without my permission. Thank you.
The Old Lighthouse
There is an old lighthouse by the sea.
It brings back many childhood memories to me,
Of those many days when Dad and I sailed,
On the deep blue ocean as the waves swelled.
If she could talk, I know she would tell,
Of long ago, when the sea, mighty ships did sail.
And of the sailors who welcomed her bright light,
As they approached the rugged shore late at night.
Today I will take my child to see,
That old lighthouse that means so much to me.
He shall see her great beauty as she towers,
And together we will go sailing for hours and hours.
I will tell him the wonderful stories of gone by days,
When I could see her clearly threw the afternoon haze,
And how God had blessed her with that great task,
Her beacon did guide all lost sailors in the past.

Very nice art work, love the poem, I used to go to a place called "St. John's Point" it had a lighthouse. and a might loud fog horn, it did make some racket
