Medieval Era 2.0 : Making Yogurt
Once at home, the twins are drinking some of the fresh milk. With the remaining of the milk of the bucket, Bourieva is preparing the milk for fermentation, by using a sample from a previous batch of yogurt.
Bourieva makes just enough yogurt for herself and her sister so that they can consume about a liter of it, every day of the year. Some years she produces more, some years she produces less; it depends on how much milk the current old cow can produce while being milked by Bourieva. She can do it even with her damaged vision.
