New Year's Eve is pure torture for all pets. Equipped with hypersensitive hearing, they experience the detonations, which are already loud, as downright painful.
This sensitivity to pain results in anxious, panicked behavior, restlessness, and fidgeting in the animals.
My appeal to all animal lovers: if possible, please refrain from using firecrackers and other New Year's Eve fireworks; your animals will thank you!

We are lucky here, no fireworks for the new year. Alas, one at the end of our december market (can't call it a Christmas one) each year. And, despite we are far, the hills around send back the sounds and the babies at home are terrified. Time to pass on a louder music sound, with a music they like, to disminish the intrusive noises.
