Description
Well, I have a couple of different ideas for the hanger on a space station image I am working on. Please let me know which layout you think looks better. These are just perlim ideas. Lighting, textures, and models are not set in stone yet.

Hmmm, the lighting in the bays ends up making your ships look a bit flat. Maybe tone it done or set it up so there's a bit more shadow? Also maybe you could add some small illumination objects for lights or whatever inside?
The first one is cool. Since you are not constrained by gravity or up and down, I could imagine a ship sitting in a docking bay like that. Makes me think you could do some great motion control type moves with your camera/model depending on what you have in mind and what kind of time you have. So far so good. Cheers!
Isn't that the Hammerhead from Battle From Beyond The Stars in the top dock? Sad of me to know that one, but who cares?
Nod: No, it's a Rebel Blockade Runner from Star Wars. It's like the one called Tantive IV from the very beginning sequence of Star Wars A New Hope (Star Wars Episode IV). It's also called the Corellian Engineering Corporation Corvette. Sad that I know THAT!! :-(
Denb, I feel your pain. It shows our age. As for the scale, I looked up the ship's sizes on other websites and technical references from Lucas at the book store. They are to scale. The Corvette was suppose to 150 meters, the medium or Rebel transport 90 meters, and the Action VI freighter 125 meters. The space station is not suppose to be on a scale with the Death Star. It is suppose to be much smaller. Like a general space port or something about 1000 meters in diameter. Thanx for the comments guys/gals.
