That's the magic of Christmas! And what a cherished memory. I'm not so much about the memories of Christmas past though. I like my current simple rituals the best. And just think. So many people say it isn't what it used to be. Thank God, I say. LOL.

I like how well done this turned out for you, It looks great...i know its not related but it brought memories of the E.T. marketing campaign poster that was used to promote the movie. It showed an image of the moon with the kid riding a bike and E.T. in the basket. My mind works in strange ways...happy holidays to you my friend! :-)
