Hello Everyone, I hope everybody had a great week and are all doing well.
Doing these AI videos feels more like I am a director/producer of my own productions. At least that's how I feel when ever I am prompting and directing my AI characters to act in my videos. (It's the first time I direct a Wolf and a Predator how to act with each other) it's a different workflow and I am getting used to it a bit more, week by week. I may be enjoying the experience a bit too much as I don't want to loose sight that I do 3D animations using 3D resources.
The best part about it is not having to wait weeks or months to finish a video. I can usually now finish it in about a week if its a longer video like this one. (I would not have ever attempted a video like this one before, I just did not have the needed resources) With AI, the barriers of rendering have now been removed. Large server farms are doing all the rendering now...what would take my PC a week to render, can now be done in less than a one to two minutes. Everything does not come out well on the first take and more than one are often required to get the desired results, but that only takes a few more minutes.( before I would have to start all over if I was not happy with the render result) I hope to improve as the weeks go on.
Today I have a video using the images of an excellent artist which I admire! You all have seen his beautiful and impressive art on these galleries since he does a great job of sharing his art with this community on a regular basis. Lutz or "Courtray4458" has an impressive gallery covering so many genres. He granted me permission and access to his gallery so that I could do an animation using his AI images. The toughest thing has been narrowing it down to what video and what subject out of his gallery I wanted to do.
When he uploaded his "In Syberia" upload on December 4, that instantly made up my mind that I was selecting that one series to do my animation on. I ended up using 5 of his images to create the following animation. I would consider this video to be 100% AI. I wanted to create a video worthy of the awesome images that "Courtray4458" created. He sets a high standard in his AI art work and I did not want to embarrass myself in using his images.
Another hard part in the making of this video was selecting which song to use. I recorded about 20 different variations of the same song lyrics (folk, rock, modern classical, Lo-fi, Country, Modern Pop and others) and then got down to the last 5 songs and this one was the chosen one. "Chat GPT AI" came up with the lyrics based on a simple subject (It was to be about a Predator that comes to Earth and befriends a Wolf) I then used an AI music generator to take those lyrics and create a song based on what instruments I wanted to use and the style of music I wanted to create. I chose in the AI song used in this video with the following qualities "New Wave with emotional female vocals and light guitar with soft piano and violin"
OK now that I have bored everyone that bothered to read my long journey into how I created this video. Watch the video and comment on what you think of it. I kind of liked the music and how it turned out, I found myself foot taping with the beat of this one. lol :-)

WOW!!! I never thought the final result would be this good! It could be the trailer for the next Predator movie, LOL! Smooth motion, no judder, great expansion of the landscape beyond the limitations imposed by my photos, and a fitting musical score that's neither old-fashioned nor overly dramatic! I reckon my photos couldn't have been translated into a film any better. Fantastic job, Johnny, chapeau!! 👍🎥
Absolutely amazing! It's incredible how you can use AI to transform your renders into beautiful videos. I've never worked with it, but I can't imagine creating this fantastic video was easy. Hats off to you! I love it! 😍

Incredible video you made here ... and the song is just as great :-) Even with AI I'm sure this wasn't easy to do ... I couldn't do it with my limited experience.

Words are so weak...I can't express my admiration. The characters are amazing, the move so naturally. And the music track is perfect I'm only sad to see a wolf has a collar. Hats off !
I'm only back for one comment per gallery today, unfortunately, but I hope to do more soon. But it's always a pleasure to come here and sit with your cinematic creations, and bask in your gentle and beautiful way...
You open with the flow some films open with---with a soft moving camera, weaving in and out of the predator and wolf, as if looking at your characters again and again, to feel their presence and essence. Given the craggy nature of their habitat (that's not exactly a neighborhood playground!), your direction is soft, gentle and caressing.
Then the two walk together, and you don't move away from them quickly (something a number of directors do, to keep the pace fast): You let us sink into them, incl a closeup of the wolf.
When they return to their perch---or maybe it's a new perch that is similar---they seem to be settling into peace again...but the "AI Bloopers" pipe in. Not totally sure what happened there, lol, but I love how a second wolf comes in (a mate to the first?) And then the wolf somehow morphs into a predator. For a minute, it has a tail! (Not too shabby! You got the blueprints for that?) But then it becomes another helmeted humanoid...and then the wolf returns again. Your deleted scene (I have to say) kind of fits the whole (Ie, it didn't have to be deleted). It kind of prepares us for the next scene or story to come...
Directors don't act, nor light their films, they usually don't do the photography (usually), and often don't write: But they give commands to everyone who does all those things. You've been giving commands to your visual materials for a while now, and you're very at home with it...AI may be your actors and settings--and a bow to your friend, Courtray4458--but you directed it. Your work always has love in it, always; and visual beauty and journey. A beautiful, gentle 3 and a half minute film: really sweetly done, Johnny. I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday; much goodness to you all, this season!

I love the bloopers as they give me an idea of how things can go sideways with Ai animation.....Rather see it and learn about it now than later....lol

Fantastic video, this must have taken many hours to put together and would need Online AI sites to put this together, as it would need a lot of VRAM to create an animation like this. 👍🙋♂️
