He slapped the tray violently from her hands, sending it into the outer wall, smashing glasses and spilling drinks.
She shuddered in fear and surprise.
"You're doing a terrible job." He sneered in a low breath as he jabbed at finger before her face. "Do better! You're too slow and aren't mingling effectively with customers!"
"I...." Her voice was weak as she stammer. "I'm not a server. I am the cook. I was asked to help out a little since we are short two servers tonight."
"And what's with the clothing?" He looked her up and down with disgust. "You draw all the attention of a school teacher!"
"I am a cook." She repeated softly.
