Description
Hi all and hope your well :)
Render #1 - Post Worked
Render #2 - Straight out of Daz Render
Took me a bit to get back....we have been having an early taste of Summer here since the weekend and not fun :)
Power outages, hail measuring 8 to 10 cm and now you can get a bargain priced car as a result...lol (feel sorry for those who have been hit though) One of the things in Australia is we all have garages and they are not for anything else other than parking your car in because when we get storms here they tend to be damaging and hail is common, unfortunately for many reasons those who are not from Australia and move here find this out the hard way but at least there is insurance I guess.
Lost power here a few times more then I care to admit but nothing bad Storm wise in my neighborhood so far. Another storm brewing at the moment 5th storm in as many day.
Anyway, I am doing my best to catch up at the moment and until this weather passes, hopefully by the weekend, I will be on and off at the moment so thank you for putting up with me :)
This last doodle was an idea that all dreams start the same but can end up somewhere else and although in this dream our Hero may be frightened the Troll may simply be coming to aid her and show her the way out of this difficult place....Could be like that :)
Thanks for dropping by and taking a peek, be catching up as I can but I will see you all soon enough in your galleries :) Peace.

Wow! you captured the moment well. lets hope the troll is not looking for a wife right?
lol....never thought of it that way but you got me laughing :)
Catching up with you soon and thanks for dropping by and the laugh :)
Excellent work!
Thank you for the visit and glad you enjoyed :)
Wonderful work, and poser4me has a good point.
and that point terrify's me...lol Thank you :)
Well, if that girl has a habit of online trolling, then those two might make a great couple ;-)
Call me strange, but I think the 2nd pic looks more natural and subtle :-)
lol...online trolling and they may just be the perfect couple after all :)
I prefer the original Daz render as well, posted the 2 so those with darker monitors can appreciate and thanks for the visit Max :)
Like max- I'd vote for the second image even if both are top level. Enjoy the summer...we (don't) enjoy winter !
I will enjoy thanks Gaius and thanks for dropping by :)
I had no idea the weather in Australia was so bad. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that the storm dies down and things calm down. Here in Germany, winter is just setting in; it's cold, but only a few areas are getting occasional snow.
The picture is fantastic; I like it better with the post-processing. 😊
We usually get storms during Summer but like every 3 or 4 days, in the afternoon but this at the moment is not right, extra hot and a series of storms, mostly at night every night since last Saturday and a recent cyclone up north as well so all fun and games here in usually Sunny part of my world :)
Thanks for dropping by for a peek :)
Storms and thunderstorms here in Italy cause a lot of damage, and not just to cars. I hope you can enjoy a good summer while we're approaching winter ⛄️🌧️Great job my friend 👍🙋♂️
It will be a good Summer when it get here I am sure. Storms just show us how poorly we are prepared against the power of Mother Nature and thanks for dropping by :)
A dream for the Troll. A nightmare for the girl. Also prefer the second.
I like how you described this....very cool :)
Yes and I prefer the original Daz render in this instance as well :)
It took me a bit to get back into the swing of things... we've been having an early taste of summer here since the weekend, and it hasn't been fun :)
Yes, I think the troll could come to the young woman's aid. At least, that would make for a nice story, in my opinion. How cool she looks standing in the rising mist of the stream, while the troll is illuminated by his torch. I like the contrast between the cool lighting and the warm, personal light.
My niece lived in Australia for an extended period during her studies. She told me about a vast country with huge differences in landscape and weather. I hope things calm down for you soon and you have a peaceful summer down under :-) and that you have enough creative time again.
Would be nice to see what we perceive as a threat actually be a friend :)
The weather will sort itself out and the country is the size of North America in mass (as in the 48 states of USA) and many different weather events available here from snow to desert :)
Sure the Storms we are having will disappear by the weekend, Have one every day since last Saturday and 2 small Storms have past us today already and once they are gone the Sun is out and making some nice humidity for us...lol
Thanks for dropping by :)
He looks puzzled to see the girl in his neighborhood. Don't expect he gets many visitors. She should run! Great image.
Fight, flight....hard to say but if I was her I would wait to see if he was friend or foe I be gone...lol
Thank you :)
Excellent work and I prefer the second :)
Thank you and so do I personally :)
I like how she is standing there, cautiously keeping her distance, yet wondering if she approach it any further...is this another episode of the "beauty and the beast" or is it something more terrifying!
It's amazing how the weather can breach havoc on peoples life in so many ways...I often think of the weather in Australia to be more sunny and less with the type of storms that exist throughout the year there. I guess it has a lot to do with the way movies and shows always portray the weather to be there. (all I ever see on the show "NCIS Sydney" is sunny weather) LOL
It's nice to hear you came out of the storm just fine...This render looks fantastic and it can often lead the viewer to imagine so many different story scenarios from it. :-)
In my part of Australia it is usually Sunny for 11 months a year, this is just one of those unexpected things we get from time to time.....and as long as your prepared then you have a good chance of everything coming out ok, hail and wind on the windows is the only real fear I guess and at least we rarely get Tornado's here....don;t think our building codes are ready for that :)
Thanks for dropping by Johnny and catch up with your site-mail in the morning for sure ;)
I guess we need the extra rain to fuel the Summer humidity here as well...lol
Go find Agrid, Aragog is injured
lol.....Thank you :)
Super !
Thank you very much :)
Fabulous render - love the atmosphere! Hope the weather settles down for you. We are just starting winter here, but so far we have had more rain than snow!
The weather will get better soon I think and hope you get some Sunny days soon.
Thank you :)
Nice. I hope the weather gets better. - Bob
I think this is happening to top up the Humidity in time for Summer....What would Summer in a sub-tropical climate be like without at least 90% humidity at night...lol
Thanks Bob and loved your Turkey, cracked me up :)
lots of dreams are nightmares for some, glad i don't have dreams like this. but i also when i awake never remember my dreams anyway. cool work indeed. maybe summer there but hitting winter time soon here.
I sometimes remember dreams, fragments of dreams and if you don't write them down quick enough they are gone.
Funny how you guys get a White Christmas and we go to the Beach for Christmas with plenty of Sun screen on... :)
Thanks for the peek Steve :)
Run......
I love both of these, but I think my fave is # 2. There's just enough light to see her (and her new friend), and make her windblown hair stand out so beautifully. It looks slightly starker which really compliments the fright factor. Awesome work on both!
We get some freaky winds, and sometimes hail, but it's usually pea-sized or smaller. (Missouri, USA)
Thanks Rod and would like a little Hail like that for a change :)
Une composition fabuleuse, tu es vraiment un maitre de la lumière.
Je fais de mon mieux et je vous remercie pour vos mots gentils :)
