In this shameless promotional image gallery we introduce the revised Queen Anne period English dragoon pistol now available in Free Stuff. In this new version, improved textures allow the pistol to be rendered easily 'out of the box' without the need to substitute enhanced textures to achieve great results. The older one was limited to 1k textures to accommodate Free Stuff file size limits, as the full-up set was far too vast and users could never utilize its full potential without substituting high-end textures from DAZ or Rendernode. The textures are still divided by material: dark wood, light wood. brass, iron barrel and iron which still permits switching out or modifying. The wood and iron textures are deliberately set to rather light tones for users to darken as required for taste and light, and can be adjusted further in Surfaces for quite a few different looks. The image above was achieved using such techniques in a few seconds without outside enhancements. The pistol still responds well to enhanced textures for those so inclined.
