Description
Hi and hope your well :)
Sometimes you just lock the doors, put the pedal to the metal and get through the seedy side of town a fast as possible.....make sure though your car is well maintained as this is not a place to break down...lol
Time flew by this week and these are the 2 best ideas my muse could come up with in short notice :)
Thanks for having a peek and just playing as usual and hope you enjoy. peace :)
Straight render out of Daz with little post work in CS3

I like how the headlights play with the foggy mist. And the mix of firelight and darkness are very well done.
Steff_7
Thank you...I like the contrasts in lighting when the scene fits :)

Your lighting is always spot on, no matter what the scene composition calls out for...the lighting is always right! You have great discipline in making sure the lighting matches the mood down to perfection. I commend you for that skill on top of the many others you often display in all your renders.
As far as going through this bad part of town, it takes a very brave girl to walk the streets at night like you have here, unless she is martial arts expert and just wants to practice her fighting skills on a real opportunistic opponent. :-)
Steff_7
Lighting for me is the skill....it creates the scene, sells the dream and regardless of the situation, the lighting tells the story and I spend so much time playing with light to capture the right mood to tell the story :)
Thank you :)

Killer (no pun intended) work on these night scenes! I've been through a few of those areas, and yeah.... Pedal to the metal!
Really superb work!
Steff_7

Well, do as I do and pack a SIG sauer .45... no worries. Love your work!
Steff_7
Bring a few spare clips as you never know :)
Thank you :)

You have a knack for those dark settings where lighting holds the whole structure of the contents of the scene. Both scenes here are superb and convincing, the second one may be my favorite though, in that the heroin is perfectly silhouetted against this ominous suburban environment. You've done a super job here, way to go !
Steff_7
I love playing with lighting. It tells the story better than the comp but it has to be right and I love the darker scenes, bring some depth as I do not see a lot of pole doing it as it is harder with the resulting render quality and artifacts. I try my best to bring a story to every render I do and to create a path for the viewers imagination to explore :)
Thank you :)
Femke_
Excellent render, the lights is beautiful
Steff_7
My happy zone is the lighting....so tells the story :)
Thank you very much :)
