Rutger Oelsen Hauer
* January 23, 1944 in Breukelen, Utrecht Province; † July 19, 2019 in Beetsterzwaag, Friesland Province
was a Dutch actor who also enjoyed success in the international film industry. He rose to prominence in 1982 as the doomed replicant Roy Batty in Ridley Scott's cult film Blade Runner.
One of my favorite european actors. Just re-watched "Bladerunner" again...after a long while
