Baron Samedi in Voodoo is imagined as a tall, elegant Man, which is the Protector of the Graveyards. Husband to Maman Brigitte he equals her in swearing and drinking, as a Member of the living Dead "Ghede". His Color is Violett and his Symbol an Iron-Cross. As a bad Character he is feared, but respected, because of his Role as the Judge of Souls: In their Belief the Soul parts from the Body in the Grave and can go to the Afterlife. Its up to Baron Samedi to let them pass, but if he judges a Soul for bad Deeds, this Soul must go to Hell for a Time. There are more of the evil Loa, but I end this Series here. I thought I saw the worst of evil in the Soul of Men already, but was wrong: These cruel Voodoo-Gods thirsty for Blood seem to come from the Heart of Darkness itself!
