Description
More than 10,000 men to build the Titanic - no small task! With 15 watertight bulkheads and remote controlled doors, ironically, it was conceived to be practically unsinkable in its design. However, some weak points arise in the construction - different materials were used for the rivets depending on if it was hand hammered or not - this difference may have made a difference in the strength of the rivets.
