Description
Ayida is a Part of the benevolent and friendly Loa-Gods-Tribe "Rada", nee to Skygod Dambalé. Both are said to have crossed the Ocean first of all Loa to support those captured and enslaved in the Americas.
She is a female Creator and Purifier, that renews the World constantly. Her Element is Water, her Colors are White, Blue and Rainbow-Colors. She dwells in Waters and in the Rain, but also goes into Society in human Form as a beautiful young Woman or an Elderly with snakelike Dreadlocks to listen to the Burden of Men and Women. Her Symbol is the Rainbow-Boa.
Her Disciples call her therefore at the Waters Edge and with Offerings of Rice, Milk or Coconut. She grants her Follower Renewal, Purification from Sins and bad Habits and Diseases and new Life. A very positive Voodoo-Goddess she seems! :)

Yes, its astounishing that even the Voodoo-Gods with their bad Reputation divide in Good and Bad, which is not known to us Westerners! The other Point is: I think a Spirit creating excessive Life as such needs the Informations what are the Issues to overcome them, so to listen is Part of her "Workflow", I suppose! ;)

Yes, we are always falling Victim to the extensive and the spectacular, so the wrong Impression of the Loa has formed! But its there like in Reality: The bad Forces are more, but the good Forces are stronger! ;)
