She seems just a little bit melancholic to me, wonder if it's something to do with whatever's in the letter or note on the back of that photograph. And who's the little girl? Her daughter? Younger sister or some other relative? I'd wager it's been awhile since last she saw them, hence the "Where did all the time go?" feeling I'm getting from her.
