Description

In the winter, the White-throated Sparrow's diet consists primarily of small seeds, fruits & insects when they are available. During the summer months, it primarily feeds on insects, supplemented with greens and fruit. The young are fed insects. Then in late summer and fall their diet reverts mainly to fruits and seeds.
