Il est sage comme une image ce petit. J'espère qu'elles n'auront pas besoin du jugement de Salomon pour savoir qui gardera l'enfant.
C'est une image de paix dans un monde de violence. Ces deux femmes sont des gardiennes armées, des veilleuses, dans un monde où on leur a donné un rôle à l'image des hommes. C'est un instant de répit, au détour d'une ronde, elles ont trouvé cet enfant miraculeux, qui par sa présence, redonne du sens à leur vie. C'est un instant suspendu, où elles osent à peine regarder cet enfant, de peur que ce rêve ne s'échappe, elles rentrent en elle-mêmes, profitant du silence créé pour se retrouver. Voilà ce que je lis dans le tableau, et que j'ai transposé.
