Yes the figure and the mike have been changed back in the war years 39 to 45 the mikes were large and round always black and by large I do mean large you might notice that the backing music track has almost gone in the 40s there was no such thing as sound boxes and 24 track recorders the system only had one track what was called Mono sound Now days I have an 24 track app of a great recorder system on my Lap Top Young ones now days don't know the meaning of hard work in the sound tracks, My 1st four tracker used 1/4 tape, my next was an 8 track 1/4 inch tape machine but ran at 2x speed, my echo machine was an Bison export machine with an Web copycat for back up, now days that is replaced with an app on the lap top, I can carry my studio in one hand
