Photos from where I live by bob4artist
BIO
I've been doing art for a long time. I use to do my work using an airbrush and standard paint brushes, but now use only the computer. I have a MFA degree in painting, but made my living doing graphic design. The work that I do using the computer, looks almost the same as the work I use to do using an airbrush. I now use AI images to create images and then fix and modify them. Except for the ability to create an image a whole lot faster, all that has changed is the clean-up. "click".

man oh man aren't you just so fortunate to be able to witness such utter beauty that life and nature can offer -- if only we as people paid more attention to it... just stunning, Bob :))
Being an artist helps. Also, living here is not cheap. It's an HOA with a lot of very rich people (I'm not), so they don't think twice about spending money on improvements, which raise the HOA fee. Still this is a very nice place to retire. I love all the animals. - Bob
Cool photos Bob. We live in a rural area as well with lots of nature .
I love the quiet.
Awesome place! ... except for the HOA ... lol! I've heard of many people having bad problems with their HOAs, which usually start off good but get progressively worse with time.
Ideally I'd love to live in the fresh, quiet wilderness with my own power and water -- and a fast hover-car so I can drop into the city for shopping every month:-)
Yes, it's 15 minutes into town. You learn to make lists of things you need. The HOA is OK rule wise. They don't get too crazy with to many crazy rules.
You live in a beautiful place!
Thanks
Wow these are beautiful, the soundtrack from Meet Joe Black comes to mind watching these.
I kind of like new age music with these. Very calm. But, your soundtrack works too.
A very beautiful Place! and always good to have a Raccon-Band at Hand to help You! ;)
I named them Hewey, Luey, and Duey. They use to come every night. Very friendly.
Sensational series of photos!
Thank you.
WHOA. The photos are all so lovely but that first is especially breathtaking! Such beautiful colours and atmosphere in that one. And of course I just love those cute little raccoons you've captured as well.
Thanks. The first photo was taken down the street from me. Fog hardly ever shows up here, so I grabbed my camera and walked down to take the shot. The raccoons are kind of friendly here. Those three use to show up every night. But, then disappeared and were replaced by some others (a mom and her three kids).
This is a wonderful corner, and animals seem to like it a lot too :)
Thanks. Yes, there are a lot of animals up here.
@bob4artist Glad to hear you still got some friendly raccoons coming around :)
Unfortunately, if I get caught it's a $1500 fine. Same for feeding deer.
wonderful, seems to be full of secrets...the color distortion fits too!
Thanks.
@bob4artist YIKES. I had no idea! Be careful!
Actually, a lot of the people here feed the deer. Then there are the people that want to get rid of the deer, because they eat some of their plants. It is beyond my understanding why people move to the forest and then cut down all the trees and want to kill all the animals. - Bob
@bob4artist Very hypocritical of them indeed!
True.
Stunning collection of images here and a little jealous to see this is what you have to deal with everyday...lol
