Description
There are people who find it eerie and frightening when there's thick fog outside and are downright afraid of it.
It seems to be a fairly widespread phenomenon, as even films deal with this fear or use fog itself as a stylistic device, for example, Frank Darabont's 2007 film "The Mist," which deals with precisely this fear.
All sorts of monsters also crawl out of its fog and make life difficult for people.
