Description
Hello strangers...lol
I made it back my friends...finally and after and exhaustive search online and through my old CD-Roms I have recovered a lot of what I thought was lost with my recent HDD failure, knew I wouldn't get it all but hey, that's how it goes sometimes.
This is the render I was kit-bashing at the time of the HDD going down and boy was thing one frustrating to build. I needed to use the Daz geometry editor and although effective, not fun and prone to grabbing meshes you want keep...lol
There was extensive editing to assets here one way or another, all in Daz and hope you enjoy visiting this hostile place where they mine the core of the planet seeking those rare and most valuable minerals that feed the Galactic money making machine.
Have cleared my schedule for tomorrow and will be here without fail to do some much needed catching up, peace :)

Thank you and for the visit :)
Holy Snap! ... That's a lot to take in ... so much stuff nicely placed and finalized with that famous Steffanize filter ... a total visual overload for my eyes and brain!
And I share your frustrations -- mine being endless editing and retouching with PSP and a mouse till my fingers ached.
And CD-Roms? You mean those ancient round digital thingies I recently saw in a dusty old museum?
Thank you and yes those old disc things...still have there place in the go to last backup needs....Thank goodness I had them, well the ones my system could read anyway...lol
This is a level of patience I just do not have, and I am always so impressed when anyone can pull this off, which you do regularly... on top of which there was a crash so even more impressive (since this is the one area where I will truly lose it, when anything happens to my machine). Incredible achievement (they all are really). :)
Oh it is pure dread when you get system failures but you have to accept it and make the best of what you have no matter how emotional it makes you.....tomorrow is another day so I try to always dream of tomorrow and deal with today the best I can.
Thank you and for the visit :)

What a fantastic scene you've created here - killer lighting and atmosphere!
Glad you were able to find a lot of your files! Keeping backups of all your goodies is imperative for us 3D fans. I've got so much stuff on DVDs, external drives, USB sticks, etc. I'm always finding stuff I didn't remember I had!
Where ever you can find space...backup backup backup...lol
I like most do my best to backup but you just never know what piece is gunna fail or when so very thankful this time I got most back. Only loss I really miss is the videos of my Mum and Dad, gone like them now :(
Thank you and for the visit :)
Hi, wow, great sci-fi scene.
A true delight given the dearth of good science fiction movies :)
When does it premiere?
Greets Storm
I was thinking a Thursday night screening just to get a feel from the audience :)
Thank you and for the visit :)
Nice work with the lighting and fire. I'm glad you were able to recover most of the lost items
Got what I could but 2 prized assets I will never get back but hey, that's life and thanks for the visit :)
Awesome render, the atmosphere is superb, and the lighting is perfect. Always so much to look at, simply epic.
So many possibilities within the one view :)
Thank you :)
