Description
I like to personalize the spell effect my wizard Kiss casts in our D&D game. In this case it's pretty straightforward, but the underlying theme for my wizard, Kiss' spells are they all have something to do with her eyes. Here, her pupil-less white eyes go black to mimic the oily blackness of this spell.

This looks fantastic! Her enemies are going to have a tough time getting to her!
Indeed, and while this can do significant damage, the main draw for her is it hampering and restraining her opponents. When she was forced to fight in the arena, at times she was made to kill. Now combat is on her terms and she won't take a life if she can help it. This spell can restrain enemies long enough for her to escape or use something more nonlethal to subdue them.
