I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Wonderful capture, Rod, this is just beautiful! It makes me want to start doing photography again. I saw a screaming guy in there at first glance but you could literally find more and more every time you look at it. Like that teeny tiny woman standing there, hahaha, I missed that the first time. :)

Adobe dose not want people to use their old programs they only want people to spend and then spend, Now their programs is good but who can afford the £60 MTH FOR THEM
I love to look up and watch the shapes form and then break up

I hope you solve all this soon, so you can continue TNA adventure. interesting clouds... looks almost like someone screaming at the sky... well at least to me.

You may be able to log in to your Adobe account and get a download of an installer that doesn't need an internet connection or log in to work. Adobe let me do that with my copy of CS3 so take a look and see. I still occasionally fire up a very old Mac to use CS3, though there is little reason to do it nowadays as I have Affinity Photo.
Or just buy Affinity Photo, if you're an experienced Photoshop user it will take very little time to get used to it.
Anyway I hope your troubles are quickly solved!

Planned obsolescence strikes again, unfortunately. I've been using GIMP ever since Adobe took Creative Suite cloud-only.

very cool

I sometimes look at the clouds, but I never happened watching an angel standing up there. Great picture!

That's a great looking image Rod, every now and then here in Southern California we see similar beautiful clouds also, with the exception of the many man made chem-trails that abound high in the skies above. What we don't have is clouds with so much feminine sex appeal as the cloud you have here my friend. lol :-)

Beautiful photo! If Photoshop keeps getting stuck you might want to give Krita a try. Even if the newest version doesn't run on Win7 there are links to older versions available on their site.

i am always cloud-morphing... hehe..
i remember very clearly driving with a friend, and i'm in the passenger seat looking out and up, and there is this very tall, long formation that truly looked like an angel standing in the sky facing away from our car... and as i watched, the bit that formed her head continued to alter its shape so it seemed as if she was starting to turn her face towards us. it absolutely left me breathless, and feeling quite small and humble...and i noticed i was holding my breath the entire time... just an incredible experience...
i do hope you get your creative 'equipment' sorted out :))

Supebly done Rod.
Re old machines, I hear you... I still keep an old Win7 platform for my pld MIDI sequencing softfare (it would cost hundreds to upgrade to a modern DAW, as weel a s steep learning curve, so i keep putting it off) . As for old PS versions, I still use CS2 that has the signup requirement too, but i manage to get round it by saying "not now" at login, though Ive no idea how long that will work for. I guess GIMP is the logical next step as its free... though id di have to but a more recent Wacom tablet the would be recognised on win 10/11, but theyre relatively easy to find cheap second hand.

It's wonderful how nature can do things like this.

It's hard to let go, and greedy companies catapult you into unnecessary new equipment. Don't know the answer here, Rod, but I wish you luck sorting it all out!

I would recommend not getting another Wacom. They're overpriced for what they do. I use XP-Pen tablets. They're a much better value. Also, if you do subscribe to one of the Adobe plans, go for the "Photographer's Plan". It's only $10 a month and you get Photoshop, Lightroom, and a few other things. Those are about the only Adobe programs I use so it's a really good value for me. If you have questions, feel free to message me on here or Facebook or wherever. LOL :D Take care, my friend!

Thanks, Lizzie! I am on the Photographer's plan; it's a pretty good deal for what you get with it. Photoshop was my main goal, but I've played with Lightroom a bit as well. I'll check out those XP-Pen tablets, thanks for the info.
I just got a response from Wacom, and they're saying my Cintiq is compatible with the video card in that newest computer. I guess we'll find out when I connect everything - which will be next week sometime.
