Hello Everyone, I hope you are doing well and doing your best to get along with this planet we live in. lol :-)
A few months ago, a site I used to visit when I first started my journey with Poser and 3ds Max long ago, closed abruptly and is no longer in business. This site was once important to all poser users as their models were provided free by many members of the poser community who enjoyed sharing their models with others. I personally acquired many Poser Star Wars characters from this site as well as the Swidhem's Hunter Predator figure which this video animation is based on. I just wanted to give the Predator model and the Sharecg site a final farewell. You can still find the Predator on a pay site called Forender if interested.
I was inspired to do this animation by viewing the awesome work of Steff_7 aka Steve and Poser4me aka Ellis. These two artist are masters of their craft and both do an amazing job in providing this site with beautiful and immersive images loaded with so much atmosphere. It is the awesome job that they do that got me thinking if I could provide an atmosphere with music in one of my animations.
I went ahead and found a music track from the show called "Paradise". The song is called 'Another Day In Paradise' the song was originally done by Phil Collins and is now performed by the band Joyner. It has a very nice melody to it and I thought the music would go well with my animation even if the lyrics did not quite match the visuals.
I went ahead and rendered some new scenes and used some previous scenes to create this animation. Think of it this way...what if a Predator decided to take a vacation that would free him from needing to hunt anyone. What would that look like and how would it sound. I imagined he would seek a jungle environment where he would find relaxation with plenty of peace and all the tranquility that the jungle could provide.
Just don't go there to join him as it may inspire him to get back into hunting humans. lol
I'll be taking a Summer vacation to be with family, but will see you all after the Summer...stay creative my friends! :-)

Oh Wow I didn't know ShareCG shutdown. They were a great resource for Poser and DAZ for years. They will be missed for sure. You have done a great job with this animation and I thank you for the recognition as Steff is one of my favorite and inspirational artist here at Renderosity. The song ads a nice vibe to the hunters entry to Earth. Lets hope their stay is short and sweet. :-) Anyway this video was so enjoyable as all ways, have a great weekend!

Great animation love the model and as for that music it is as they say "Out of this world" I agree that Sharecg was a great site many a model from there I used with in Poser

Well now, what can I say....Thank you for the association with this superb piece of Scifi animation and the work you put into creating this master piece, definitely one of your best, the sound track is perfect for the vibe and watched it twice....so far...for now...lol
I feel very honored and I get a lot of my inspiration from yourself and Ellis and note you left me an idea in one of your previous comments that I will have done by the time you return from your holidays.
I was saddened with ShareCG closing as I had deleted most of those poser files as they were getting corrupted for one reason or another and thought I would download and re-install the files again but alas my timing as usual was off. They are already missed.

An amazing and stunning animation. The music made it really that much more impressive. Awesome effects and masterful work. I still have sharecg saved as one of my favorite short cuts and was just on it about a month or so ago. Sad!

Bravo, JohnnyM! Another superior video very solidly delivered for maximum impact! Most excellent results! I've been distracted by DAZ studio these past several months and have been pursuing my passion for displaying the male physique at another site. In the last few days, I have felt a little tug to return briefly and try and bring some new content not just in Poser but also some interesting results I've gotten from prompts with gemini-google ai. You commented on my most recent one and I am happy to see your message as it brought much joy to my heart. Perhaps we will see more of each other here in the coming months? At least I hope so. Thanks again for all the support and creativity you have shared with me and the community here on this site!
I can't believe I've missed this masterpiece of yours for such a long time but looking back, I was really bracing myself for leaving home on a four-week professional mission, and then came the holidays, and so forth ! ... Your animation here encapsulates everything that nourishes everyone's existence, or should do so: pursuing a purpose, go about making one's dreams come true and move forward without being too nostalgic of one's past. Many fine kudos on your mesmerising and sublime animation, no-one surpasses you here in that specific artwork .
