This cartoon was influenced by my many years of watching Red Skelton, Buddy Hackett, Bob Hope, George Burns & Gracie Allen, Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners", Three Stooges and my two favorites WC Fields and The Marx Brothers. WC Fields "The Bank Dick" and Marx Brothers "Duck Soup" are my two favorite comedy movies of all time. I can't recall which member of Monty Python once remarked when asked, who influenced their brand of humor? To which they replied it was the Marx Brothers who invented their brand of comedy and he replied The Marx Bros invented it. Some of the earlier Marx Brothers films are a bit of a chore to watch and not because of Groucho, Chico, Zippo or Harpo. But due to the idea to make these movies comedy/musicals. I find the singing and dancing routines interrupt the flow of humor and a big distraction.
