We seem to be bent of creating more problems rather then solving them lol. I feel like the tech we build is like all other tech, they are tools and it is up to us to use it right as oppose to abuse it.

That thought crossed my mind as well, and my take is this: In the worst case scenario that in less than 5 years our civilization ends, we have had the pleasure of living in the most exciting, technologically explosive period in at least 10,000 years. Since we all eventually die, what could be more thrilling than to live to the very end of countless centuries of struggle and agony --- to witness the final, most dramatic end!

In that case I better load up on popcorn and make sure I get myself a good seat and maybe a few of your body guards...you know, just in case and in a way I can see what your saying becoming our reality sadly but can't take the animal out of humanity can ya ?

Not to sound too dark but you may be seeing both my friend! We may have reached that junction where the end happens soon after it has just begun!

It seems that many of the decisions of where we go from here are being controlled by external forces not of our own doing and that is not a comforting thought as we move forward with AI. :-)

Despite our beliefs we as a species are not perfect and now we create something that has no emotions and based on pure logic with a requirement to survive....The blessings we may discover with this tech would be amazing and so helpful but one bad apple, one bad programmer with different ideals and bye bye world so I just make the best of everyday, hope for the best and dream of a better tomorrow :)

intriguing render, and topic. Excellent effect with the subjects washed out into the background glare (though possibly just a fraction too bright for my monitor to resolve properly, alas).

Apologies for that, I did go hi on washing this out and must admit when it pops up on my 75" TV it is a shock to the eyes.
